Over the last 20 years, the BEST OF THE BEST STATE COOKBOOK SERIES has developed a loyal and widespread following among food lovers and cookbook collectors alike. The series, which recently completed coverage of the entire United States, has now garnered the attention of SAVEUR magazine in “The SAVEUR 100” special issue as “Tastiest Set of Road Trip Souvenirs.”
The goal of Gwen McKee and Barbara Moseley, co-editors of the BEST OF THE BEST series, in developing the series was “preserving America’s food heritage.” SAVEUR magazine, which is written for sophisticated, upscale lovers of food, wine, travel and adventure, recognized the fit between THE BEST OF THE BEST approach and SAVEUR’s emphasis on heritage and tradition from home cooking and real food, to the world of culture and eating out.
